Dr. Roberto Herrera |
| A US trained and renowned Costa Rican surgeon, published author, and pioneer in the development of health service initiatives, has had a progressive tenure as Director of Cima Hospital (a JCI-accredited hospital), regional director of Medical Service Development for CEFA, and presently, President and Medical director of Medical Developments America. Dr. Herrera has been the recipient of numerous awards and high honors in Costa Rica and abroad, such as the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social (CR), El Congreso de la República (CR), International Circle of Medical Excellence (US), White House Health Unit (US), and the Pacific Research Clinical Foundation (US). | |

Dr. Christian Lachner |
| The only Geriatric Psychiatrist in Costa Rica. He was trained in psychiatry in the US at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt program, and later completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the specialties of Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Lachner has a private practice based in CIMA Hospital (a JCI-accredited hospital) where he is also a part of the Executive Medical Committee and also leads the Ethics Committee. Dr. Lachner has clinical experience in different treatment settings, including: outpatient, inpatient and residential programs. He is also an Honorary Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Costa Rica. | |
